His latest experimental film “Fried Barry” has been sent to over 70 film festivals around the world, and has already has 6 officially selections. And has won 2 awards so far. Ryan recently won a kykNet competition to direct the new  Francois van Coke music video “Beter mens” but due to his health at the time he couldn’t make it back to South Africa to shoot the video and they had to pass it on to the next person.



After going through each of the 550 entries in detail, roping in a judging panel of industry experts and discussing the ideas non-stop for weeks, the Jameson INDIE Channel team are excited to announce this year’s Jameson Music Video Grant Top 10! “Kruger” has made the top 10 for Zaki Ibrahim  “Cold Feet” Concept.



Its been on his bucket list for a while now, shooting six experimental films in his style he’s known best for with no filters or barriers for TV broadcast he has been let loose with this project. This will purely be a online and for film festival films. He has teamed up with a bunch of talented filmmakers from different country’s to make these passion projects. The sound design for all the films will be done by the very Talented “Haezer” one of Kruger’s favorite SA Artists. Once all six films are finished he will have a exhibition screening all six films promoting all the filmmakers.

Elvis Blue – Die Lyn

Ryan recently just teamed up again with Elvis Blue for his 4th single, ‘Die Lyn’ which will be released in October this year. The last time they worked together they won the award for ‘Best Video’ at the Ghoemas.

At the start of the year Ryan Won ‘Best Music Video’ at the Liverpool International film Festival for ‘Jody Cash – Sexy’ and a very special award  ‘Alan Clarke Award for Achievement’ Alan Clarke was a renowned local filmmaker  from Liverpool in the independent film scene and boosted the careers of many successful actors, such as Ray Winstone, Tim Roth. Though Clarke passed in 1990, his family still sponsors the award today.
